Mama Shelter hotels provide much more than mere accommodation. They offer guests a unique experience in a trendy and comfortable environment – a place of refuge in bustling cities. Founded in 2008, the hotel group now has a presence across eight countries, including Italy and the United Kingdom.
Nestled in the charming Prati district, Mama Roma offers a home away from home in the heart of the Eternal City, only a stroll from Cipro Metro station. The Vatican and all its treasures are within easy reach, just a short downhill walk away. This surprising haven boasts a host of amenities, including the Mama baths spa area with indoor pool, sauna and steam room, and a well-equipped gym.
The vibrant Giardino d’Inverno presents a colourful Italian dining experience amid lush greenery and hanging lights. During balmy weather, the rooftop terrace becomes a hotspot for cocktails and light bites, accompanied by breathtaking views of the dome of St Peter’s Basilica.
The hotel staff stands out as the most accommodating and courteous I have ever encountered.
Mama Shelter in hip Shoreditch provides guests with comfortable and conveniently located rooms in which to unwind, share meals and relax, all under Mama’s attentive care. The bedrooms are charmingly unpretentious yet stylish, and offer all the home comforts – a cosy bed, a refreshing raindrop shower and great Wi-Fi. On the top floor, guests are treated to glimpses of London’s iconic skyline that takes in The Gherkin and The Shard. The youthful and amiable staff are well versed in local knowledge and always ready to assist, adding to the overall welcoming ambience.
