From the editor…

Welcome to Anthology Volume 19, our Summer issue, which is brimful of really great features, with a special focus on travel. It’s been three years since many of our international adventures were suddenly upended; now travellers are eagerly returning to their favourite spots or exploring new destinations.

Here at Anthology, we’ve embarked on a few excursions of our own to bring you new ideas and cultural experiences. In this issue, we take you to the breathtaking Alhambra in Granada and the nearby cave houses of Guadix, to laid-back Copenhagen and charming Malmö, connected by the mighty Øresund Bridge, and to the historic porticoes in Bologna. We also visit the colourful streets of Agueda during AgitÁgueda Art Festival.

Ireland has a rich history of craftsmanship, and from the Hunt Museum in Limerick, we feature the work of Sybil Connolly, renowned for creating haute couture from Irish traditional crafts and textiles. We also visit the Cork studio of master craftsman Joseph Walsh where his magnificent furniture and monumental-scale sculptures are created.

Christian Paier, acclaimed Austrian chef and CEO of Private Chefs Inc., introduces us to the extraordinary lives of private chefs who cook for the super-rich, and shares with us some of the visually stunning dishes they create.

Finally, the Anthology team would like to thank all of you for your continued support and for choosing to spend time with us. We hope this issue brings you inspiration.
