Wexford artist and owner of Rosslare Gallery, Jane Meyler brings together work by artists from around Ireland to offer an eclectic collection of contemporary art. Many pieces are on coastal themes, reflecting the gallery’s location in Rosslare Strand, while Jane’s own artwork in pastels and oils is also featured. Her special interest in colour and brushwork is evident not only in her own practice but in the carefully selected works she chooses to exhibit, creating a cohesive yet varied collection that appeals to a wide range of tastes.
Jane Meyler’s curatorial approach is both thoughtful and intuitive, focusing on artists whose work demonstrates strong technique, individuality and a clear sense of expression. The gallery showcases pieces by artists such as Esther O’Kelly, Paul Maloney, Michael McGuire, Gillian Deeny, Tony Robinson and American impressionist Lori Putnam, offering visitors the opportunity to explore a diverse mix of styles and perspectives. This blend of Irish and international artists ensures that the collection remains fresh, engaging and visually stimulating throughout the year.
In addition to paintings, Rosslare Gallery features a wide selection of sculptures, prints, mosaics, jewellery and decorative craft items. These pieces are chosen not only for their aesthetic appeal but also for their craftsmanship and originality, making them ideal for collectors or those seeking a distinctive gift. The variety on display means that visitors can find something to suit any interior, from statement artworks to smaller decorative accents that bring character and warmth to a space.
The gallery provides a welcoming and relaxed environment where visitors can browse at their leisure and discover new artists. Whether you are an experienced collector or simply looking to brighten a room, Rosslare Gallery offers a carefully curated selection that celebrates creativity, colour and the enduring appeal of contemporary art.
