Kathrina Shine

Kathrina Shine is a multi-disciplinary artist. After qualifying as an architectural draughtsperson, she moved from Ireland to Scotland, where she attended The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland/ Glasgow University. She then worked in theatre for ten years in Britain. 

On returning to Ireland, she set up a successful film production company and many of her short films won international awards. During this time she returned to painting and had her first exhibition was in 2000. Her work is in many public and private collections including, The OPW National Collection. In November 2019 she was featured as part of Gormley’s daily tour at Art Source in the RDS, Dublin. 

Her gallery in Wicklow Town, ‘Gallery@No:5’ is a unique and bijou gallery that showcases her work.
