Jennifer Hart has been painting since she was a child. She studied fashion and then interior design in London. Her inspiration comes from a diverse mix of her love of the sea, the ever-changing landscape and the hard lines of man-made structures. This combination of influences is reflected in her work, where organic forms often meet structured elements, creating compositions that feel both dynamic and balanced. Her use of colour and texture allows her to capture shifting light, movement and atmosphere, resulting in paintings that are expressive and engaging.
In May 2021, Jennifer Hart opened the Hart Gallery in the Frascati Centre in Blackrock. Her main objective was to support local artists, and the gallery space is open to professional artists from all genres. The gallery has quickly become a vibrant creative hub, showcasing a diverse range of contemporary art while fostering a sense of community among artists and visitors. Jennifer has created a relaxed atmosphere where she also works from, and shares experiences of basic methods, encouraging others to explore their own creativity in an accessible and welcoming environment.
Alongside exhibiting and curating, Jennifer continues to develop her own artistic practice, producing original works that reflect her evolving style and influences. Her paintings are held in private collections and are appreciated for their ability to bring energy and character to a space. She is passionate about making art approachable, both for collectors and for those who are new to buying original work.
She offers consultations, and can arrange for a custom piece to suit specific needs. Whether working with private clients or interior designers, Jennifer ensures that each commission is tailored to its setting, creating artwork that enhances and complements its surroundings.
