With many swapping desks for kitchen tables, Belfast artist Desie O’Reilly recognises the importance of being surrounded with positive, colourful art. His work has been exhibited in New York, London and Dublin and is in private collections in America, England and Malaysia. His contemporary paintings are steeped in colour, reflecting aspects of the Irish landscape that have inspired him for many years. The bright colour palette is constant in all his work, capturing familiar landmarks and roads less travelled.
